Our story

About Agapaya

Agapaya comes from the Tagalog word agapay — “alongside”. We make small, practical tools for the moments when a parent and a child need to get through something together.

How our guides are made

Every guide starts from published research on how parents and children manage big feelings together — co-regulation, emotion labelling, what breathing exercises can and can’t do. We turn that into plain language, then run an evidence and claims review before anything is released. No outcome promises, no diagnostic labels.

What we are — and aren’t

Agapaya guides are general educational resources for parents and caregivers. They are not therapy, not medical or psychological advice, and not a programme to “fix” a child. If you are worried about your child’s wellbeing, please talk to a qualified professional — the full note is in the footer of every page.

Print at home, use today

Everything is a print-ready PDF in A4 and US Letter, bought through Etsy or Gumroad. Print one page or the whole kit, cut a card, put it on the fridge — no app, no login for your child.

Where we’re going

A classroom edition for teachers is in the works, and personalised kits for individual situations will follow once the printables have proven their worth. Read about the schools edition.
